I’ve had an overactive imagination for as long as I can remember. I worked for over a dozen years as a creative writer, graphic artist, photographer, PR and marketing guru, grantwriter, social advocate, and agent of change (or some combination therein) in the hi-tech, pharmaceutical advertising, performing arts, broadcast and internet media, and social services industries. My work has appeared in Our State Magazine, The Apex Herald, The Cary News, The Raleigh Digest, and a handful of industry publications.
I write contemporary romance and romantic suspense under the name Becky Moore, and I’m pleased to report that despite the most grandiose, exhilarating, strange, and unlikely plot I can come up with, every story has a happy ending. And, in the spring of 2012, my first children’t book under the name Dolly Dozier will be published. I can’t wait!
You can also check me out at MacMillan Publishing’s Heroes & Heartbreakers, where I’m a romance blogger.
I live in the wilds of central North Carolina with my husband and our 13 year old son, and our pets Magnolia May (the beagle) and Dilly Freckles (the cat). When I’m not writing or telling stories, I like to spend time outdoors hiking, kayaking, cycling, swimming, and gardening.
